iPod, iPhone, iPad and Now iWatch?

There are rumors around that Apple will go into producing iWatch. It is all started with articles from  The New York Times’ Nick Bilton and The Wall Street Journal’s Jessica Lessin.

The look is pretty cool.  I hope it is not very big in size. Battery is definitely an issue. It must be able to last at least a month without charging. No user will like to charge their watch every day. To reduce the battery consumption, user will expect most of heavy duty functions be removed out the watch.

Another issue probably is the size. Large size will look  ugly and will  not be  appealing to ladies.  If it is too small, it is very hard to use the touch to operate. Men’s finger can easily cover half of the screen.

Anyway, there are existing smartwatch producer in the market now. Take a look at some of their products below.

Iphone 5 is Coming – Good News

If you are Apple’s Fan and waiting anxiously for Iphone 5, here is the good news.

Apple had sent out invitations for an event in San Francisco. The event will be on 12 September 2012. It is common believe that during that event, Apple will set stage for the release of the iPhone 5.

According to news from Tech Crunch, Apple is changing iphone 30 pins dock connector to smaller 19 pins equivalent for the coming iphone 5.

If you have bought any accessories like docking station or anything that make use of the connector, you will either need to buy a new one or buy another adapter when you own a iphone 5 later.

Comparison of iphone 4 prices in Singapore

After iphone 4s’ launch, I am interested to know whether is there a drop in iphone 4 prices in Singapore? In my previous post, I listed down iphone 4 prices before iphone 4s’ launch. Now the comparison is as below.

Surprisingly iphone 4 prices in Subarumobile increases from $800 to $850 for 16G iphone 4. Price increase has also seen in 32G iphone4.

Today, M1 website traffic has very high and it is difficult to access the website. I believe it is due to their attractive pricing for iphone 4s as posted in my post yesterday.

While Starhub website seems to remove their iphone 4s price plan and even their iphone 4 price plan. Mmm.. Something must be going on at the behind the scene. Just wait and see.

For Singtel, their iphone 4 pricing remains the same. No price drop. That means that for their iFlex Lite plan, the difference in price for iphone 4 and iphone4s is only $18.

Complaints about Iphone 4s

Read an article in Atlantic Wire about iphone 4s complaints  by Rebecca Greenfield.

Three main complaints are

1) Iphone 4S screen is more yellowish compare to Iphone 4.

2) Voice recognition, Siri does not always work as expected.

3) Sprint wireless carrier is too slow. This affects those who is using Sprint as carrier only.

Personally, I felt the differences between iphone 4 and iphone 4s is not appealing enough. Features like voice recognition, faster speed and camera resolution will not prompt iphone 4 user to upgrade.
